Yesterday was a big day. We took the front side off of Gabi’s crib so that she can get in and out of bed by herself. Gabi was really excited, getting a running start and jumping onto her bed. I took some pictures (and will post one here when I upload it).
Lisa cried a little.
Gabi’s first nap with the new setup was a challenge and she didn’t like it at all when she went to bed last night. She cried: “Daddy broke my bed. I want my edge back. I want my edge back.”
This morning Lisa woke her up and she got out of bed by herself. Not sure what that means, but we’ve heard that some kids still want to be picked up out of bed for a while until they realize they can get out by themselves.
