Gabi is going to a Mother’s Day Out program this summer for one day a week on Thursdays. I was in Houston, and Lisa sent me an e-mail with the subject line “words from your daughter”.
Here’s the e-mail:
Here are few things Gabi said today.
When I was dropping her off at school she said, “I don’t want to stay here today. I want to be with you today.” I don’t like it here.” “Please don’t leave me.”
When I picked her up (around 11:45am) she said, “Mommy, you came back for me.” “I’m so happy to see you again.” “I was crying and crying in school for you.” “Let’s go mommy.”
While I was taking her to her room for a nap, she said “mommy, I need a vacation.” “I need to have my vacation before my nap.”
